Weekday Preschool
The Weekday Preschool of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church has been serving families in the community since 1941. Believing that preschoolers are God’s special gift, our mission is to help preschoolers develop and grow in a Christian environment, to minister to the needs of families, to be a Christian witness and to glorify God in all that we do. It is our goal to help preschoolers grow spiritually, physically, socially, mentally and emotionally. Our objectives are met primarily through the use of the Wee Learn Curriculum, Success reading program, hands on math and daily Bible stories. 
We offer classes for children 3 months of age through kindergarten. We observe the September 1 cut off date for all classes. All of our preschool classes are from 9:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. Our preschool program is operated on a school year. Classes begin mid August and end mid May.

*Babies must be 3 months of age by September 1.

Early Care and Extended Care are offered to children enrolled in our program as follows:

  • One & Two-Year-Olds: Extended Care is available from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Three-Year-Olds through Kindergarten: Early Care is available beginning at 8:00 a.m.
  • Three-Year-Olds through Kindergarten: Extended Care is available from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held February 6-10, 2012. Please contact the Weekday Preschool office at (803) 787-3372 for additional information.

Kilbourne Park Weekday Preschool is registered with the Department of Social Services. We meet all state regulations regarding teacher/child ratio and staff training.

Kilbourne Park Baptist Church Weekday Preschool Registration for 2012-2013


Please READ CAREFULLY the order of registration, as there are several changes from previous years.


Registration for the 2012-2013 Weekday Preschool year will follow the schedule below:


Currently Enrolled Two’s, Three’s and Four-Year-Olds    February 1st ( Wednesday) and February 2nd (Thursday) 9 a.m. - Noon in the Youth Building. This is for students who are currently enrolled in the Two’s, Three’s and Four’s who are registering for the Three’s, Four’s or Kindergarten classes. You will not have to “wait in line.” You only have to drop off the completed forms and fee.
 

Currently Enrolled One-Year-Olds   February 3rd (Friday) 9 a.m. - in the Youth Building –This is for the current One’s who are registering for the Two’s classes. Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. If there is a particular day or days that you want your child to attend preschool, please know that as a currently enrolled student you are guaranteed a spot for the next year but not necessarily your pick of days.


DEADLINE for currently enrolled students to be guaranteed a spot for the 2012-2013 Year 
is Friday, February 3rd at 11:30 a.m.


Siblings of Currently Enrolled Students   February 6th (Monday) 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Youth Building


Registration for New Students Who Are Children or Grandchildren of Active Kilbourne Park Baptist Church Members   February 7th (Tuesday) at 9 a.m. in the Youth Building


Registration for Siblings of Preschool Alumni   February 8th (Wednesday) at 9 a.m. in the Youth Building
(alumni are defined as students who have completed our 5K program)


Registration Opens to the Community   February 9th (Thursday) at 10 a.m. in the Annie Greene Building


*Registration each day is on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

*Registration forms will not be taken early. 

*Families may register in the above order only. 

*A registration form, DSS form, and Emergency Contact form must be completed for each child you are registering
 before your registration will be accepted. 

*The registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. If you are registering a child for Kindergarten,
 you will also be required to pay the field trip/special event fee at the time of registration.
 The registration and 5K special event fees are non-refundable.
