The Mission of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church is to help every member reach their potential in Christ by: Building Kingdom Relationships, Building kingdom Disciples and by Building Kingdom Servants.
 
This is a process whereby:
  • Building Kingdom Relationships involves taking new believers into the church and assimilating them into the body of Christ. This involves encouraging new believers to grow in their faith through: prayer, worship and fellowship.
     
  • Building Kingdom Disciples involves encouraging believers to grow in their knowledge of Christ. This is about discipleship through the Word of God. This involves: growing in biblical knowledge and learning to obey God’s word. 
     
  • Building Kingdom Servants involves encouraging believers to become ministers through service. This is about encouraging believers to discover and use their spiritual gifts in the body of Christ. This is where the ministries of the church originate. Such ministries as evangelism, missions and other service oriented tasks are involved. This is about getting incorporated into the church as a mature believer in Christ.
