Children

People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he put his hands on them and blessed them.” Mark 10:13-16(NIV)
Our church delights in the opportunity to nurture children in the teachings of God's Word. Children are encouraged to experience the joy of Christian living through Sunday School and Children's Church (ages K5-2nd Grade) on Sunday morning, and mission groups and choir activities on Wednesday night. Fun field trips and mission opportunities, which are planned throughout the year, provide Christian fellowship and promote the importance of serving and loving others through Christ. We welcome the privilege of ministering to your family.
Preschoolers and Other Children
At Kilbourne Park Baptist Church we believe that preschoolers, children, and their parents and care givers have a very special place. We strive hard to create an environment that will nurture, teach, influence, and guide all aspects of the delicate developmental years of childhood. Preschoolers and Children have the opportunity to explore and discover that they are unique and wonderfully made by God.
We also realize that being a parent and primary care giver in today's world is a tough job. We want to offer support, encouragement, and practical help to all adults who have the responsibility to guide children into a relationship with Christ.
Summer Activities
Summer at Kilbourne Park Baptist is a special time for Preschoolers and Children. Each summer Kilbourne Park Baptist sponsors Vacation Bible School for one week.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church exists to glorify God, lead Christians to spiritual growth, and point seekers to Jesus Christ. Nick Goesy (the Director of Music) will be happy to answer your questions and invites you to join this area of Christian service.

Youth
Our youth program is very active as well. Throughout the year there are lock-ins, trips to Carowinds, concerts, retreats and other activities. However, the important aspect of any youth program is its commitment to discipleship. Our goal at KPBC is to see our youth committed to the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to lay a foundation in the lives of our youth that will equip them to face the many challenges of life. As such we stress the importance of studying God’s Word and applying it to our daily lives.
Seniors
The Senior Adults of KPBC are a vibrant, active group who both enjoy each other's company and minister to each other.
The J. O. Y. Group (Just Older Youth) meets at noon on the fourth Monday of each month from August through May for a luncheon. Each meeting includes a program of inspiration or entertainment. For information about upcoming J. O. Y. Club programs, please contact coordinators Bert and Nancy King at 782-0161.
Our Senior Adults are the core of our prayer ministry. Many of them come to our prayer room during business hours for periods of 30 to 60 minutes to intercede for the spiritual and physical needs of others.
We have a thriving population of senior adults who would love to welcome you into their fellowship. Please come see what we have to offer.
Sunday School
Our objective is to have a place where people of all ages can have fellowship and grow in the Lord. To accomplish that, we have a Sunday school program that accommodates ages from 2 to 92 (people older than 92 are also welcome!). Our Sunday school curriculum focuses on the biblical text, and as such it is designed to give the student a better understanding of biblical truth.
Outreach/Evangelism
We have active visitation teams that go into the community to share God's love through the gospel.
Homebound Visitation Teams
Our homebound visitation teams visit and encourage (on a monthly basis) the homebound and shut-in members of the church.
WMU
Our WMU is very active in promoting missions within the church.
RA's, GA's and Mission Friends

Our active GA's, RA's and MissionFriends groups meet every Wednesday at 6:45.
